For Technical positions, you should ideally know SharePoint and it's associated technologies to a very high standard, if you can demonstrate your excellence in Microsoft .Net-based technologies in general and ideally if you are certified to MCAD, MCSD, MCPD or MCTS, then we would like to speak to you.
For Functional positions, a good grounding in the implementation of SharePoint solutions is highly desirable. However, we are willing to consider excellent client-facing candidates from other sectors with experience of delivering Software Applications through the use of their demonstrable Project Management and Consulting skill sets.
Current Vacancies
2 - Business Development Executives
The successful candidates will have a working knowledge of at least two of the following: Portal, ECM, Collaboration, Workflow and Search Solutions, preferably SharePoint-based but we will consider applicants who have sold these solutions from other vendors. We expect the candidate to be able to demonstrate SharePoint functionality, and will be able to build effective professional relationships with prospective clients.
The candidates will take on the following responsibilities:
· Growing the client base by following up leads, conducting meetings and gaining commitment to Requirements Gathering Workshops.
· Ascertain the prospect’s business requirements and develop proposed solutions in conjunction with a Pre-Sales Consultant and/or a Business Analyst.
· Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients.
· Take a pro active role when attending business development meetings.
· Account Manage the now Client through the Requirements Gathering, Definition and Specification stages up to sign-off of the main project.
· Maintain continuous communication throughout the initial stages with the new client.
· Manage all information, including correspondence, relating to leads, prospects, new clients and opportunities in our CRM system.
· Present Monthly Pipeline Status report to Senior Management.
Criteria include the sound knowledge of Portal Solution Sales in the upper mid-market to corporate space and/or the public sector. Mature and well developed technical sales presentation skills, tenacity and first-class interpersonal skills are also required in addition to proven sales experience.
Senior Developer
You will have 3-5 years of experience developing with the .Net Framework (ideally in C# and ASP.Net) and at least 6 months experience developing in a SharePoint environment.
You will be well educated, ideally with a degree in Computer Science (or related subject), a quick learner, highly motivated and interested in new technologies. You must also show good communication and presentation skills. You will be expected to produce high quality code to budget and deadlines, and will be required to provide technical development support to an expanding team of Developers and Junior Developers.
Exposure to advanced SharePoint development practices would be highly desirable, although training in the more advanced SharePoint development skills will be delivered on the job where required.
A suitable candidate should expect to have experience of the majority of the following technologies: T-SQL, XML, XSLT, HTML, JavaScript, WSS 3.0, Web Services, and Reporting Service.
